eat, stay, shop: may 2017

May 26, 2017

From its world-class seafood to its cozy inns and cobblestone streets filled with local shops, Portland, Maine isn't just the city we're lucky enough to call home, but a place we love to share with visitors from near and far.

Just around the corner from k colette, the fresh, airy, and ridiculously friendly Thai restaurant Cheevitdee is a must-try when next you're in town. Inventive dishes, charming service, and a casual atmosphere make it one of our very favorite dining experiences in the city.

Situated in a stately circa-1884 Italianate building in the city's West End, the bold decor and gracious rooms at The Pomegranate Inn are destined to make you smile.

From their color palette to their work ethic, sister designers Blair and Hayley Griffin attribute every component of their business, Eklund Griffin, to their coastal Maine upbringing. Handmade in New England of Maine-tanned leather, their buoy block clutches are as cheery and chic as they are evocative of our great state.
