path hand-painted notebook

After graduating in 2012 with a graphic design degree and no job prospects, Meg Gleason decided to take a chance and invest in a letterpress – a beautiful, 100-year old machine with which she intended to start her own stationery business. Alongside her husband on their Iowa farm, Meg used unique techniques like dip dyeing and hand-painting to develop a successful line of cards, notebooks and other paper goods. Today, the Moglea Studio is a beautiful structure built on the family farm, where the Gleason's employees and family members produce items that are sophisticated and unique, with an emphasis on the hand touch. Handpainted and handbound, this unique book is blank inside with pages that lay out flat for writing or sketching. Handmade in Iowa.
