wooden binoculars

As a former New York City school teacher, Michele Chiaramonte believes that playing equals learning. While at home with her daughter, Michele began to spend nap time dreaming, sketching, and building simple toys that would encourage her own child to discover and grow. Using a set of power tools she received for her first Mother's Day, Michele crafts each toy in her home workshop out of sustainable American hardwoods, plant-based dyes, and beeswax sealants. For the child who loves exploring, these binoculars bring an appreciation to the world around us, from the birds in the trees to the tallest skyscrapers of the city. Handmade in New York.
